Jacqueline Helena Fitzsimons was born in Downpatrick, N Ireland weighing in at 7lb, born the eve of St Patricks Day.A son was wanted but a Daughter was born and loved unconditionally. I lived in Downpatrick until i was 7 years old and went to the local school where Dad's mum Lily was the schools cook, before moving to Godalming, Surrey in 1979. We lived on site at Hydestile Hospital as Dad and Mum were both nurses.Dad worked at Elstead working with men with mental illness. I went to the local Roman Catholic School St Edmunds.We lived there for a bit before moving to our new home at 50 Birch Road, Farncombe, of which we stayed until August 1987.My memories of living here were endless trips with Dad to horse race meetings......Sandown,Ascot,Windsor,Lingfield,Fontwell, Goodwood and many more.My Dad had so many friends who were jockeys and i loved it when we were VIP!!! My favourite was Ascot,meeting the Queen and meeting Santa of which he came down the home straight on his sledge and all the children getting a pressie!!!Also Dad took up Golf at Gatthan Manor of which i was regularly his caddy wheeling his trolley around 18 holes. We then all moved to Nottingham to start a new life together,in a brand new Landridge 4 bedroom detached house. I left school at 16 and started my first job at Benetton in Nottingham, i stayed with Benetton until i was 21. I met my husband Justin at the age of 19, we had our first child Callum Mitchell William in October 1993,your first grandchild, my dad loved him to bits.I spent alot of time with my Dad and Mum they were my rocks,they supported me and helped me loads, of which i am eternally gratefull...Thank you Dad and Mum, I love you both loads. Justin and I married on July 2nd 1994, the first of four of your beautiful Daughters, at the local Church- Newthorpe Baptist where my Daddy...Billy walked me down the aisle,I will never forget that day he looked so proud and I was also so proud to have a Dad like you. Conor Byrne was born in October 1996, your second Grandchild and the third followed in June 1998 a girl named Isabella Helena, of which you were over the moon. In June 2004 was our first big holiday together,the first of three we booked America....Florida.Dad wanted us to see an amazing place...his favourite destination and me and my family were blessed to have spent precious time with him. He took us round the theme parks,beaches and shopping, memories that will stay with me and my family forever.My favourite memory of this holiday is us all at Cocoa Beach, Dad and Matt under the sun umbrella on a sun bed...relaxing Jus, I and the kids in the sea bodyboarding eatting burger and chips on the beach, heading back to the villa to find out that we are all burnt and not being able to go out for a couple of days!!!! In June 2005 we did this holiday together again with a new addition my sister Corina and her family, we had yet another amazing time and enjoyed every moment of it, the weather this time was not on our side. We ventured to Clearwater in this trip, we lasted an hour on the beach before the rain came.But we made the most of it and had a brillant time. Our last trip together was June 2007 little did i no that this would be our last together again we had an amazing time, theme parks..Universal your favourite and the beach..Cocoa Beach, laying on your sunbed and watching Jus, I and the kids in the sea. I'd just like to say a big "THANK YOU DAD" for everything you have done for me in the last 36 years and to let you know that you are amazing and that i was blessed to have you in my life, as my Dad a True Legend, who will truly be missed. You will never be forgotten....one last thing Daddy I LUV YOU. Your loving Daughter Jaq x
